For someone who is in the “Global South” this is definitely needed. My curriculum through my degree incorporated much of what is missing in the UK and US curricula. The focus areas mentioned above are necessary in today’s teaching as it gives a more realistic and broad insight into the way we analyse and investigate situations such as Covid-19.
Thank you for mentioning the aspects that are important today and the curricula that is being studied in the Global South that should be reincorporated into the Global North.
