As a person interested in comprehensive planning, I was struck by your saying “At no point in this process were any elements of social behaviour included in the [lockdown-related] models.” As you say, determining how and when to relieve lockdowns– not to mention determining the kind of economy we should embrace afterwards– requires attention to these. At a minimum, I would add the following to your short concluding list: attitudes toward mass transit, schooling, and domestic violence. To get a well-rounded perspective, decision-makers need to listen broadly. I worry that few do.
