In it he challenged our\u00a0addiction to growth and asked whether it\u00a0was any good for us. Jackson said while\u00a0the book\u2019s conception was trouble-free, its\u00a0birth came just as Gordon Brown was about\u00a0to save the world with an international\u00a0stimulus package in 2009 aimed at\u2026 growth. The government pretended the\u00a0report didn\u2019t exist, but the abandoned text\u00a0took off. The Mint asked Jackson to look\u00a0back to the future of prosperity without\u00a0growth.<\/p>\n
